Today we got back to normal with each group visiting various transects throughout Calakmul. Our mammal scientist caught a glimpse of a young cougar fairly close to camp which was an exciting 5 minutes.
This evening we caught a rare glimpse of a unique wasp that paralyzes tarantulas and inserts its larvae into the tarantula where they mature. It's crazy to see it in person.
