Day 4- Night Herp Walk

We ventured off into the forest in search of amphibians and reptiles.  A couple students stayed behind due to mostly being worn out!  For those that went we gained hands on experience with how to correctly capture, swab for Chytrid, and store DNA.  Chytrid is a fungal disease that affects amphibians and is wiping out a significant portion of frogs and other amphibians around the world.  Pretty cool to see actual research first hand.
