Day 6- Camp Skills and Habitat Plot

This afternoon Group D, after doing that morning hike relaxed a little and worked on their camp skills.  The medic in camp did a nice job talking about first aid skills.  Students then learned how to hang a hammock and start a fire.  If things get bad at home you should be able to kick them out!

In between camp skills a few people in the group help measure and collect DNA samples of various lizards that were caught the day before.

Group C ventured back into the woods to do another habitat plot.  With this being a brand new site the data is important for future research.
